It’s a solid mix of tunes, with a couple songs each from Mary J. Blige and Gladys Knight, as well as tunes from Ruthie Foster and Club Indigo Band.
I only had time to post once this past weekend and should have written about I Can Do Bad All By Myself expecting that it would be number one, as opposed to Sorority Row. After all, Tyler Perry has had five number ones out of the eight movies he has released – an incredible streak. Trying to make up for the lapse now.

Ever since I heard the song by Rev Marvin Winans………….it has stuck with me. I cry a tear everytime I hear it. I want it on CD………….not downloading. Is it possible to pay to have that done????
Okay, it seems most of us want the same song. Cheryl ‘Pepsi” Riley really put it down in her rendition of the song..”Oh,Lord, I Want You to Help Me”. Maybe we all need to leave a message on Tyler’s site and search to see if Cheryl has one. But after doing all of those plays for TP, I hope he did not jip her out of recognition for the singing she did for this movie. Best of luck to each of you in finding this version of the song.
Alright, what the hell is the Club Indigo Band? I’ve got all the rest of the songs on the list but I can’t find the three by this band…I can’t even tell where in the movie they are played…
The Reason they didn’t make a soundtrack 4 this one was becuz there were so many record companies being involved that they couldnt fit them all in one soundtrack

Oh Lord, I want you to help me. (version used in the movie) is available on ares. Its a p2p software that u lets u download files from other computers using ares 2. Thats how I got my copy.

This is another one of those Tyler Perry movies with a great soundtrack that hasn’t been released.
I, too,have been looking everywhere for the “I Can Do Bad All By Myself” soundtrack for a while now. I love all of the songs, but especially ” Oh Lord Can You Help Me”. My life has been very stressed and has had unexpeted heart breaking situations. This particular song gives me comfort anf lifts me spiritually. My plate is so full and I know that this soundtrack or just a few songs from it would be a blessing for me. Is there any way to get this or does Marvin Winans have that song on a cd of his?
