All 12 Songs from the Yogi Bear Soundtrack
There were 12 songs in Yogi Bear, but they did not release an album for the movie. Not that that’s a huge loss. I wasn’t too impressed with the music (or the movie for that matter. Hey Boo Boo, this movie kind of sucked). When a kids movie mixes Sir Mix-a-Lot with Poison and a dash of Weird Al, you can pretty much guess what the movie will be like.
There are Yogi Bear billboards plastered all across LA. You cannot drive a few blocks without seeing Yogi and Boo Boo staring down at you. Perhaps they should have invested a little more time in a better script and another choice for voice-overs, because the movie itself was a stinker. I was only able to determine the scenes for the first eight songs in the movie because by the time we reached the water skiing scene, my three-year old was so done with the movie that she literally got up from her seat, grabbed my hand and said, “daddy, it’s time to go.”
I hope if you are reading this, you enjoyed the movie more than she did and made it to the end. If you know what scenes any of the final four songs were in, please share, and I’ll be happy to update the post. But for now, here’s the list of songs from Yogi Bear in the order they appeared in the movie and with notes on the scenes that most of them were in.

- End credits – My Best Friend – Weezer [thanks @maggie for the update]

Thanks to you and your daughter for even managing to get some of the songs matched to the scenes in the movie. For anyone wondering about the song used in the Yogi Bear trailer, it’s Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah by the Pogues covered by Ozomatli (Hot Tub Time Machine Trailer Theme Song).
My Best Friend by Weezer was in the end credits.
Thanks for posting this list… My two and just turned four year olds loved the movie. I was less impressed (far less), but happy they liked it
