Soundtracks to Marley & Me, Bedtime Stories, Valkyrie and The Spirit

The videos and downloads to the movies that released on Christmas Day are all on Reelsoundtrack.com. Here’s a summary of the music from Bedtime Stories, Marley & Me, Valkyrie and The Spirit.

In typical Adam Sandler style, Bedtime Stories features 25 feel good songs, including Don’t Stop Beleivin’ by Journey, Disco Inferno by The Trammps, Eternal Flame by The Bangles and Rock Me Amadeus by Falco, as well as music from The Beach Boys, Bruce Springsteen and more.

Here’s a live version of Don’t Stop Believin’:

Marley and Me also has a fun soundtrack filled with a dozen songs, including Cantaloop by Us3, Lucky Man by The Verve (a personal favorite), Shiny Happy People by R.E.M. and Rockin’ the Suburbs by Ben Folds (from Over the Hedge).

The Valkyrie soundtrack takes a much more serious turn – as can be expected. Not surprisingly, the movie features the Ride of the Valkyries, as well as a number of German songs: Die Entfernte Melodie by Lior Rosner and Badenweiler Marsch by George Furst. They’ll Remember You by Rundfunkchor Berlin is also in the movie.

Here’s Ride of the Valkyries:

The Spirit is heavy on special effects by light on music. There are only two songs in the movie other than the score by David Newman, Falling in Love Again by Christina Aguilera and Deutschland Uber Alles by Captain Helmut
