Angels & Demons Soundtrack is Chant-o-riffic

The Angels & Demons movie is better than the Da Vinci Code movie but neither is as good as either book. Maybe that’s to be expected. After all, it’s hard to capture the nuances of a book in 138 minutes.

I didn’t mind the movie – the pace of which kept the plot moving. But I kept on thinking, without prior knowledge of the book, I would have been completely lost. And it kind of bothered me that they changed the prequel into a sequel.

As far as the music, there were only two songs in the movie:

  • Gregorian Chant: Requiem Aeternam-Introitus (VI) by Schola of the Hofburgkapelle and Hubert Dopf S.J
  • Introitus by Morten Lauridsen
