Exclusive: All 25 Songs from the It’s Complicated Soundtrack
There are 26 great songs in It’s Complicated. They did not release a soundtrack album beyond the score, but all of the songs are here. And they are really good. As is the movie; it’s a great movie. Alec Baldwin, Steve Martin and Meryl Streep are all fantastic. It’s a damn funny movie in so many ways.
The best music in the movie is the string of four quick songs when Meryl Streep and Alec Baldwin were in the hotel bar getting reacquainted, including Save Room by John Legend, Love That Girl by Raphael Saadiq, Girl They Won’t Believe It by Joss Stone and Don’t Do Me Like That by Tom Petty.
The songs that play at the party after their son comes home from college are great as well, with Elton John, David Bowie, Leo Sayer, Fine Young Cannibals, the Specials and The Beach Boys playing back to back to back.
Here are all of the songs from It’s Complicated, in the order they appeared in the movie and with notes on the scenes they were in. I hope you enjoy the music as much as I enjoyed the movie.

Thanks so much for doing this. I came straight home to download from iTunes to find none of these songs on the soundtrack. You should totally make a playlist. There were many who wanted the whole list.

does any body know the name of the music in the dancing scene. It happens right when merl comes in and asks to be seated, when she walks right into the bar, The music was really nice, it was some kind of dance music, not the song save room for love, I am talking about exactly right when she walks into the bar, there’s backround music. at the beginning of the dance scene.

Here is the link http://www.amazon.com/gp/recsradio/radio/B0000C0FA8/ref=pd_krex_dp_001_008?ie=UTF8&track=008&disc=001 You can find this song on a CD called Vintage Chill Vol #3.
